Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's very sad.

msbelle, H and I used to rock, paper, scissors, loser had to wake StE for school. It was difficult for him to shut down enough to sleep before midnight, even if he went to bed at 9pm. His circadian rythym was just geared to vampire hours for about four years. He went along willingly with all efforts to get him up in the morning, but it was just physically difficult for him. He was a senior when he bought a windup clock with the loudest, most obnoxious ring (and an audible tock, tock, tock) he could find, set in all the way across the room so he'd have to get out of bed to shut it off. And even that didn't work.

He did get it honest, though. As a college freshman, we had bunk beds we couldn't dismantle, plus a single bed, in a small room for two people. Plus two dressers, and two desks. I had the top bunk; the bottom bunk was blocked with furniture. I had to climb from the desk chair to the desk to the dresser to get up to bed. My roommate watched me reverse the process: bed to dresser to desk to chair to floor, cross the room, turn off the clock, and climb back into bed...all without waking up.

So yeah. It isn't necessarily wilful. Medical science really ought to work on an antidote. Emmett's school isn't the only one nationwide that has set their start time later in the morning in response to the problem.

Do long flowy skirts, tees, and blazers with the sleeves shoved or rolled up qualify for 90s? Or is that late 80s? I forget.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The intern is supposed to be collecting sales contact person email addresses. Out of, say, fifteen companies, he got three in three days. I picked the first one on his list of "I just can't!" and in 90 seconds I had the info.

I have no idea what he's doing. Or not doing.

When you ask him for a list, he makes text boxes, like two or three sequential ones and splits the names into the boxes. Sometimes the boxes are fully outlined, sometimes it's just two sides.

I have no idea what he's supposed to be good at. His ability for ordered thinking stops somewhere short of a) understanding that widening the Excel column turns the #### back into dates (learnt) or b) realising that if you make one entry in a spreadsheet span multiple rows, you have the world's most useless piece of crap worksheet (deduced) or c) how to make a list of ten items (fucking innate, come on!).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have 3 pieces of paper to deal with and them and done, so that means I get to play in the interwebs, right?

100%

Maybe I will read instead. I think I have reached the end of my net at work sites.

unless of course anyone needs some web shopping help.

You could all go look at my 80 board on pintrest and give me feedback on wedding dress ideas. I've decided against wearing an actual white or cream wedding dress, but cuts and styles I am still open about.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

90's fashion....I think I dressed much like I do now. Never been fashionable.

I owned one bodysuit. It...was not for everyday use.(I bought it at a place called Forbidden Fruit, and only wore it at cons.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

One year my family had so many funerals (we were running at least one a month) that in a snit of dark humor I went out and bought a big black hat to wear to them. And then they stopped.
