Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Holy crap, Gar. Glad you're all right! Take care of yourself, man, that's scary. Definitely not minor league stuff.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

How scary, Typo. I'm glad you're OK.

Thanks lisah. My face feels way better today, so something in yesterday's combo of treatments (Badescu & cortisone cream) worked.

Who was it who recommended Mario Badescu for rosacea? I want to make sure I bought the right stuff. The keratoplast creme soap?

I use the cream soap or the make-up remover soap, the chamomile cleansing lotion, and the aloe moisturizer. For me, if I go to anything else, the rosacea comes back. When I tried another moisturizer, the rosacea stayed away but I got a bit of eczema.

I seem to love all of the things that irritate rosacea: red wine, hot yoga, coffee . . . so the fact that I can keep it at bay without any metrogel by using the Badescu stuff was a big win.

If this Badescu stuff can keep my face from flushing bright red because of EVERYTHING and more capillaries from being visible in my cheeks, I will pay pretty much anything for it. What is this witchcraft?

I don't know what it is, but it works for me. YBadescuMV. Heaven knows I tried just about every other "good for rosacea" cleanser on the planet.

What's the name of it?

The Badescu stuff I listed above!

Thanks Sparky. I think I bought the right soap but I got the kera moisturizer, not the aloe. Will try that next time. I hear you on the coffee and the red wine. And spicy foods.

Metrogel does zip, diddley, and squat for me. I am now using Azelex cream as that makes the redness go away for a good few hours, but only the steroid creams work on the eczema for me. Still the difference between yesterday and today is ginormous, so I'm going with it.
