Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I keep getting cards from my high school about updating my information in some directory, so I finally called last night. They were trying to shill a book or a CD with information about graduates, so I opted not to buy anything and provided only minimal information about myself.
It's not exactly hard to find me if you want to. Everyone who ever went to my high school does not need my goddamn phone number.
Today is the first day I've properly left home since the canning.
I'd intended to go to B+N & read some free books, but it's too cold for me to settle. However,my closest B+N is on 3rd Stso maybe I'll read something I actually own on the... BEACH before l finish my errands. Am horribly underdressed in jeans and T-shirt tho.
These females are * presenting *.
Thanks, Kat. He'll be happy as us to hear the news.
Underdressed for the beach? How is that possible?
Grace just had a bath and now we are waiting for a new room. I just used her last pair of underwear, so I guess at some point I will be walking to City Target. Plus, I LIKE City Target!
Hey Kat, I'm heading up to UCLA soon. You're there, yes? It occurs to me that it's probably too late today, but tomorrow I could offer my services if you need an errand run.
Burrell, that would be awesome. Right now we are in the PICU so things are okay for me to leave, except we are waiting for a bed on the floor to open up. I have to run to City Target to get two more things for Grace to wear and some socks. So I think I'm going now, but tomorrow, on the regular floor, it's harder to leave her.
In other news, here's her stoma. [link] It bothers me less without the bandaid, yet I am worried about dirt and germs. So.
Can't see the pic, sorry. Let me know, Kat. You can text or email me. I can bring food or whatevs, I know what it's like to be stuck at the hospital.
Ugh. My skin is having a terrible time. Between the rosacea and the eczema, my face is red and hot and it's sore and itchy. Bleh. I don't mind how bad it looks, it's how bad it feels!
Who was it who recommended Mario Badescu for rosacea? I want to make sure I bought the right stuff. The keratoplast creme soap?
Ugh, Burrell. That does sound unpleasant.
So, I was going to post this link on Facebook, with the note that Boys II Men did help me get lucky one time, but then I remembered I'm now Facebook friends with my mother. Also, the whole thing is probably only relevant for people around my age, but it is SUPER RELEVANT for my peers.
Kat, if you need anything else tomorrow or Friday let me know--just wrapped up the last bits of school and can stop by or run errands.
Timelies all!
The sky is looking ominous, and the wind has picked up. Thunderstorm on the way.
