Left HR person a message, she hasn't responded. I am twitchy. And weirdly guilty that I'm considering not taking this job. I mean, it obviously depends on a lot of factors, but there's some whole thing wrapped up in the idea of actually turning down a job.

Had my brother not known exactly what all the benefits package entailed, he would have accepted essentially a 15% takehome pay cut when moving from contract to perm. So, yeah, kind of important (he ended up negotiating a 10% net takehome raise. I think even they were a little surprised at how much the initial offer would have screwed him over.)
Okay, got in touch with HR. Not attaching the benefits info seems to have been an oversight.
Also, they're basing their vacation offer on my years of experience in total, rather than my years with their company, which is very attractive.
Ohhh, that is nice. Glad it was an oversight and hopefully the details meet your expectations. Plus YAY!!! Job offer.
Yay! Glad you asked, and got good answers in a timely fashion. This bodes well.
That's all adult and shit and worked out well, Dana. Go you.
This is not my week. The only PA of my migraine specialist I've liked (she'll go out of her way for me, but setting up an OOO email message would have been nice in the past) is leaving her job today. So the headaches I've been having with the headaches? Probably gonna get more complicated. I'm glad she told me--she's also the only one that gave me her direct email *and* phone number.
Timelies all!
Open sing tonight.(This month's topic: land)
Oh ita, that's such a bummer. Shouldn't the migraine specialist give you his email now that I think of it? I use my doctors' email to get in touch with them directly all the time. I email my PCP more than I see her.
Good job, Dana! I hear you on the not taking a job guilt, but that is totally how the man keeps us down.
So sorry to hear that, ita. Argh.
I feel vaguely guilty about leaving work just a few minutes late when there is so much more work I could do, but I am tired. I will gird my loins for long days next week.
Meanwhile, I kinda want to take myself out for cocktails and happy hour apps. I don't have access to as fancy cocktail bars as some of you, but the drinks menu at the bar&grill down the street is pretty long...
