"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Right there with you, Pix.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am sure you are all happy to know that a) pig legs defrosted perfectly and b) I somehow actually got to work at 7 am, which doesn't sound hard, but I have a hard time getting there by 9 usually.

ETA- and my office does not smell like pig, which is good!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I AM happy to know that!

Boo to your job, msbelle! But yay for getting away?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

A pig smelling office at 7 AM would be a hard thing for a day to recover from.

I am awake because my insomnia likes an early wake up, apparently.

So stinking tired, but today is graduation. Last night, we were out with the kids way later than normal or necessary, because it was Noah's last baseball game (THANK GOD).

Before I go to work this AM, I have to find the grad gown and hood I wear, plus appropriate shoes etc so I don't have to come home and change and go back. Though I think I might.

No swim for me today.

Because books.

Not that your job does not completely suck, msbelle, but I misunderstood you yesterday and thought they weren't letting you got to New York! I'm glad that's not true, anyway. I hope you and mac have a good trip.

Sara's fifth grade graduation is today. I could swear she was an infant *yesterday*.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Amy, in reference to your question last night -- I'm going through all the Lynda.com courses on Wordpress, which seem quite well done. I'm learning best practices for building child themes presently.

(Learned how to enqueue and dequeue styles and scripts, not to mention learning those words. As I was telling a recruiter yesterday, I just ENJOY programming.)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

FYI - I've done the googling for you al. Hummus counts as a liquid or paste and is subjected to the 3.5 oz tea rule for flying. Why yes, I am trying to use up the food in my fridge. Also avoid airport food which will not be compliant with my nutrition challenge.

YAY days off, now just a few hours of airport travel with the parentals and I will be in blessed airplane headphone sleepy land.

I'm really glad to know that! I was literally just thinking about bringing my own hummus on the plane. But I do think you can generally get million-dollar hummus in an airport.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Mmmm, hummus.

I must be feeling better: food sounds good.

So the credit bureaus think I'm dead: this might make refinancing a bit complicated. OTOH, maybe now is the time to stage a daring international crime spree?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Theo, I don't have any work for you (which I know is the most important thing), but if you ever have questions (or just need to vent) as you're learning to develop for WordPress, you can ping me. Also, if you haven't already, hook up with the Boston WP meetup -- there are some brilliant-ass people there, including a bunch of coworkers of mine.

(And yes, enqueue/dequeue are fun words! I think that every time!)
