I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yikes, -t. Also, Hee!

I made it through the day. Turns out it was day 1 of 3 days of training, which at least meant less time on the computers, which is good. Not so good was the ambient noise in the classroom at every break. At lunch I got a quick sandwich & ginger ale and sat out in the sun, which helped some. But when I got home, I had to collapse into bed for half an hour.

SO grateful my BIL works a block from me and is willing to give me rides this week.

On the down side, I have no energy to hang out with the coworkers who are in town for training, which is a drag because I really like them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, good on getting a ride that way -- that has to be a great help!

I was reasonably productive today -- got a bunch of housekeeping stuff knocked out, had a phone interview, finished a set of lessons on Wordpress feeling like I'd learned a lot of what I want to know.

Because books.

Where/how are you taking the courses, Theo?

At lunch I got a quick sandwich & ginger ale and sat out in the sun, which helped some.

That's a good thing.

FUCK YOU is why. there is too much to do, I am rushing and behind on everything and that leads to mistakes which you then FLIP OUT ABOUT and repeat. hire someone and stop taking whole days off to play golf with customers. and also? FUCK YOU.

Job search starts at the airport tomorrow.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no, msbelle! I'm so sorry.

Jesus, msbelle, that's unfair. And complete asshattery.

ANd then I got a you have been in a mood for 3 weeks what is the deal talk.

'You owe me $40 and a half day that's what." And next time anyone tries to stop you leaving "family obligation" is true-you are family too and you need to make sure you are taken care of. Too often, we all will give non-nego for kids' stuff, but somehow not for us. I wish my bosses on everyone-they believe self care and cannot-deal-meltdown days are legit unplanned sick leave.

And of course, today was one of those days I should have indulged (I was really uncomfortable and it made me snappy) but because there was shit I wanted done so I can forget it, I was in. Broke even, I guess.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh msbelle, your bosses do suck. I'm sorry.

My poor wee girl had an epic melt down before bed tonight. Not sure why. Maybe its the anticipation of culmination?

There was stuff I hadn't done he had asked me to do, but then other things were asked to do and other things and then the normal time deadline things and and and. I am mostly packed now. the dog is at his sitter and I have dropped off the key and written instructions for the cat sitter. mac is packed except for toiletries.

I am sure I am forgetting 10 million things and at least 3 of them are important enough to exasperate someone. That will be my tombstone, she was exasperating, when she was just a disappointment. bah.
