Grades are in. Six weeks ago CJ had 1 A, 1 C, 1 D, and 4 Fs. Yeah, suckage. That was about when he started on the Adderall. He ended up with 1 A, 2 Cs (including the class he was going to retake over summer school and now I can get a refund), 2 Ds, and 2 Fs. Both the Fs are in classes he had already chosen to retake next year (he could take a different class to satisfy the credit but he wants to prove to himself he can do it). It is hard to say I'm happy with those grades, but I can say I'm happy with the improvement and I have a lot of hope for next year being less of a struggle.

That seems like pretty incredible improvement in 6 weeks!
That is good progress Suzi.
Sorry that everyone had crappy days.
I would have been here to commiserate, but I had a doctor's appt, after which the migraine that's been threatening for two days hit. It was the first really painful one I've had in a long time, so I guess I should consider myself lucky. My head is still pounding slightly, but I am at work, so we'll see how the day goes.
My last two doctor's appointments, my doctor has been pretty close to on time. I'm used to expecting her to be 30 minutes late. I think there's some kind of new world order.
Suzi, that's really good improvement, yes! I hope he feels the tide has turned!
I was SURE this was a Friday. I'm unemployed anyway, so it being one more day to the weekend is not so important, but it's strange to have planned the day out on the assumption of what day it is and find I've missed a step on the staircase.
I am grateful the sun is shining and I am no longer on the verge of tears. So that's good! Onward and upward!
I hope other people have ridiculous good-luck charm kinds of things, because I had my coffee this morning in the joke "Employee of the Year" mug an old employee gave me once. (It was a set from The Office.) I like to use it before big and/or tough days at work!
That's a good one.
Hey grammar people, in "newly elected government," I don't need a hyphen, right?
No, you don't, Jesse. And good luck!
Right.
Thanks!
