I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Jesse, that's got to be hard, many hugs to you and your mother.

Oof, Jesse. That seems excessive for the people--was it almost all people from the facility or were there other family member types like you guys?

I am exhausted--so much dancing this weekend! But good. And now wishing October was sooner, when I will see these folks again. But then I also got to hang out with my cousins (and a bit more tomorrow)!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I tried on all the clothes in my closet. Two large laundry baskets to get rid of. Brutal. Losing lots of stuff I really liked, several vintage dresses, cute summer skirts, all of my pants. Tomorrow I'll divide what goes straight to thrift and what gets an attempt at eBay. If anyone size 8 or 10 is looking to add to wardrobe and wants to see pics, holler.

I don't care how long I've technically been awake, motivating myself to go swim first thing in the morning is HARD. And I've got to get in before the pool tyrants (I call them something meaner) that are the morning senior water aerobics classes get in there. They.don't.share.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Last time I looked in the closet for stuff to give to charity I got real depressed, because even though I don't wear most of it, I still like them. Feh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That seems excessive for the people--was it almost all people from the facility or were there other family member types like you guys?

All from the facility! It was in a different unit (not specific to dementia), but most of the people there didn't seem any great shakes.

So, they say it's going to be nice and warm out today, but so far it's still 60 and rainy. I liked last weekend better!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go, msbelle! I would be interested in your cast offs (I am not sure what size I am right now, but I think the last things I got from the consignment store were 12s). I really really need to to go through my own wardrobe and pull out the things that are not wearable.

Mild discomfort rather than pain this morning, yay!

In my head, I call them pool nazis. In fine form today, PLUS a lapswimmer who yelled at me when we had to go circle swim. Bitch, I just stopped because I JUST saw that a 3rd had joined, I was not hogging the fucking lane, I JUST FOUND OUT. I know this makes none of us happy, but go swallow a lake.

*I'm* a crankypants in the morning, I get it, but I am at least not an asshole about it. (I only hate on the perky morning people who were talking way too much in the lockerroom and OMG you are so pretentious with your training and glavin and I don't care if you do a half marathon in August or October JUSTSHUTUP IN MY HEAD.)

Ahem.
