Woo msbelle! Go Wii Fit! I should be doing something physical, but you know, ugh.
Because it's sleeveless, or the print, or what?
The print, I guess. She'll have a cardigan over it. It's a super cute dress, obviously, but I was seriously planning on wearing a black suit. I mean, I won't now, but it's my grandmother's funeral! (I will wear a black dress.) Her reason for shopping was that she mostly has pants suits, and for whatever reason doesn't want to wear pants. We all have weird notions, I guess! I just told her to make sure it won't get slotted into a "Mom's funeral" place in her head, so she never wears it again.

My brain goes "Oh, it's brown, so it's okay." Seriously. But then I think sandals aren't okay. We definitely all have weird notions!
No, 90s goth fashion never dies
This reminds me that I need to put together a 90s look for the 90s show we're playing in October! What look should I choose?!
To me, it is the zebra. I feel like funerals need solid colors. We are all weird.
I have gone down a youtube rabbithole of the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, to the concert at Wembley Stadium, to Brian May, now, singing "Love of My Life" without Freddie and getting super emotional. But what happened with the tribute concert seems really amazing and unprecedented (although there were Michael Jackson and Whitney tributes, I guess). And really important for AIDS acceptance. And I always think it is sweet how well Queen seemed to have gotten along, when Brian May is so unassuming and talented, and Freddie is so flamboyant and talented.
What look should I choose?!
90s to me: Baggy-ish jeans, body suit, open flannel shirt, possibly tied around your waist.
But also, I realize my favorite dressup outfit for YEARS was actually a romper, so.

I would have said blazer instead of flannel shirt, but yes to the baggy jeans and body suit.
I was not a blazer and shoe boots, but certainly knew a lot of people who were!
Basically, the three 90's choices are Angela (the look above),Rayanne (more punkish), and Sharon (floral dress).
I think '90s fashion is mostly Julia Roberts in
Sleeping with the Enemy
to me. Although I don't actually know if that movie predates the '90s.
