When I have had a scratched cornea, pretty much all of the inability to see straight was due to the tearing action creating a massive saltwater lens on my eye. Which just caused eyestrain and more tears. Cause with that, you either never blink (tears) or just close both eyes and don't see. One eye in that scenario is not an option since the closed eye moves and hurts like fuck.

You might be able to get away with seeing the movie in monovision if keeping it open is problematic but keeping it closed isn't.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm glad you got meds, ita.

I am wiped out with getting us ready for a last minute visit to the cousins tomorrow. Seems both kooky and necessary, if that makes sense. But I need to pack or I will be the cause of delay, and I'm not OK with that.

Addendum: I want to see X-Men so much! Will need to find a way to make it happen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah! X-Men this weekend! I just saw Chef, which was excellent, but this could definitely be a two-movie weekend.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I might try to see X-Men tomorrow. Looks like the earliest showing is 11, maybe I can make that work.

Ugh, I just found a tick and now I'm all oogy and hypersensitive to any sensations on my skin. Ick.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

You're just my emergency contact I'll never let them call (poor Colin is the other one--why do you all breed?????).

I should be your emergency contact that will be there, so let them call. Given my expertise with hospitals and medical offices I'm happy to be there if I can be of help.

I am not seeing X-men, because I'm only allowed a couple of movies and I'm choosing Maleficent and The Fault in Our Stars.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I just saw an ad for Chef.

I hadn't heard of it before, but it looks interesting. I might give it a try.

It's a really nice small movie. And rated R only for language, so people talk more like real life. At least, my experience of real life. Motherfuckers.

I am currently pleased because I went to the Korean French bakery yesterday, so this morning, I had a red bean roll and a pain au chococat for breakfast! Perfect. And/or parfait. (I don't know how to say it in Korean.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wait, there's one in MA?

ita, my eyes are tearing up in sympathy for yours -- I spent so many times in my childhood with miserable watering eyes whenever I got a cold. I'm so glad that doctors actually have something to help with that!
