Oh my!
Thank you for providing the evidence.
I love Frenchies!
My flight delay is longer than my actual flight. They say the airplane we're waiting on will land in 6 minutes.
That's a cute puppy!
I'm sorry everyone is having such a bear of a morning.
I'm having a decent morning so far. Snuggled up with Miss Kitty, getting caught up on work, fire in the fireplace, and, while I have a bra on, I'm wearing comfy inside clothes.
Somehow, reading quickly, I thought Miss Kitty was in Suzi's bra!
That sounds relaxing. Or possibly very very not, depending on whether it was Miss Kitty's idea or not.
My morning: The people tearing up the street can be heard through the bedroom window at 6 AM saying, "This thing's got to move," and we know they're talking about my Jeep. So Hubby gets up and parks it in the front yard. The street guys then begin moving the pavement chewer they've got parked around the corner and which the Jeep was kinda in the way of. I try to sleep the rest of the hour till the alarm. Ha.
So when I leave, I've got to drive out of the yard, down over the curb, then discover that my usual way out of the neighborhood is blocked by said pavement chewer up the street. So the long way out of the neighborhood.
Then when I'm trying to leave the convenience store near work, the person ahead of me decides that a left turn out of an uncontrolled intersection into heavy traffic, and she's too far over to make a right turn around her. People! Left turns through heavy traffic in rush hour do not make your fellow travelers happy with you!
So, I went shopping at REI with my parents yeterday (I needed doggie booties and lexan flatware, and also got an Osprey lumbar pack (doesn't that sounds classier than fanny pack?) because it was super comfortable) and my mom gave me an old receipt she had found in one of her rain jackets from when I apparently rented a snowboard (from RI, where I was working at the time, so it had my employee number on it!) in Feb. 1997 We couldn't quite figure out why my receipt would be in her jacket, but neither of us have super clear memories of 1997...
Bad commas. Darn it. Noodle is the one more likely to try to climb into my bra. Miss Kitty was on my lap. More good news - my new work computer is available for me to pick up, so I'll be headed into the office.
Which means outside clothes - boo - and tweaking with the new computer to get all the settings the way I like them.
Better news - CJ can return to his search and rescue team for the summer. Down side - he will be back on grade probation when school starts again and if he doesn't have good grades at the 9 week mark, he will be put up to the board of directors for dismissal.
