I know I've used "it's all downhill from here" to mean this is where it gets easy, but also "the day went downhill" to mean everything got worse. Very context dependent.

Phone (specifically iPhone) car navigators, does anyone have a dashboard mount they love? I find that Waze and/or Google Maps gives me much better local directions than my TomTom, but I don't have a good way to look at the map. Do those sticky pad ones actually work?

Oh, and my 2002 car definitely does not have enough cup holders, and the ones it does have are in totally stupid places. The two in the front seat block the AC controls when you put cups in them, and the ones in the back seat are close to the floor so kids can't reach them. Dylan's booster seat has cup/snack holders built-in, but Aeryn is out of luck for at least another two years.

What the fuck even is the point of neon-vagina, and why are they famous? I guess they get points for not auto-playing music on their layout, but is that and a high key palette enough?
I've been told that cup-holder goodness is dependent on where the cars are designed. As in Europeans think the idea of drinking coffee in your car is stupid, so they're an afterthought. Is that the reason my Jetta's cup holders were fragile and obscured the CD-player? I do not know. The new old car only has one readily reachable.
