Back from f2f-ing, which was fun! We walked so much I set a new daily record on my fitness app--6.4 miles. Most of that was probably in the Art Institute.
My knees and legs are sore, but ibuprofen is starting to kick in so I'm good.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

It's very exciting from where I sit, erika!
Mmm, Art Institute with Buffistas, that sounds great.
Timelies all!
Had coconut soup last night. (It was part of the dinner I ordered at an Indian restaurant) Very tasty.
If someone says "egg pie" do they probably mean quiche? (eta: there was ham and bacon in it for starters)
I'd think so. Although it's usually as much cheese as egg.
Quiche or egg pie? Clearly my quiches are as cheesy as possible, but I don't know if I've ever followed a recipe.
Quiche is as much cheese as egg. But I can't imagine what an egg pie without cheese would taste like. It would ... sort of be a baked omelette, I guess?
Frittata is an egg pie I suppose. Kind of interchangeable in my mind. With both I generally toss in whatever I desire at the moment, but ALWAYS cheese.
eta: Now that I think about it I don't put cream in the fritatta.

It's not a reach to guess I've never had an omelette without cheese.
Or hot sauce.
I've done quiches without cheese (I think) but with more cream than egg. Custard in a crust (or not in a crust, but baked in spring form pan).
I've seen recipes for egg pie, I think, but I don't remember what the idea was. If I was making something up I might make a filling out of hard-boiled eggs and assorted other stuff.
