Congratulations, Kat! That's awesome!
I'm an introvert and independent and solitary, but I love me some community, and quickly gravitate to being an active member.
That describes me to a tee. I love my solitude and quiet, but there's something about a close-knit (but not omnipresent) community that fills a deep-seated need.
-t, good for you on the running!
Muppet -- the cat I never complain about -- had an accident 'outside the box' this morning, which revealed rusty-colored urine, so it's off to the vets when they open.
::sadly watches dollars waft away, and reminds herself how much joy the cats bring her::
Timelies all!
Really need to pack, and yet I'm sitting here.
Jesus, is that listing suggesting it could be a teardown? With the language about the buildable square feet?
No, I think it's just that you could double the size of the house by putting an addition on that sticks out into the backyard. (It's a concrete yard like we have, basically a giant square driveway.)
Go, -t! That's a great accomplishment!
sara, I hope the pool drama resolves quickly, so that you may swin whenever you wish.
Theo, sorry to hear about Muppet. Crossing my fingers for both of you, and fist-bumping you in the solidarity of giving all the monies to the vet. D is apparently diabetic, but managed to hide it (the recent heat wave didn't help, since ALL of the cats were drinking water like crazy) until yesterday morning when he was on the verge of collapse.
My old cat Solomon had rusty and/or dark yellow pee, and started peeing out of the box, which is how I found out he was diabetic. I thought it was going to be a real pain and expense having a diabetic cat, but I just stuck him when he was eating each morning, and he didn't even notice! And me with my needle phobia -- fur makes ALL the difference.
I hope Muppet is OK.
Best to muppet
Cat~ma to the ailing kitties.
Cat~ma to the ailing kitties.
Seconded.
Thanks for all of the congratulations.
So, today is the anniversary of when Grace came home permanently. It's been 4 years which feels like forever.
