It's 45 degrees here, and after turning on the a/c last week, the heat is back on. My sinuses are in full rebellion because they cannot even with this weather.

It was in the 80s here yesterday (which is seriously weird for Seattle in May), but today is only supposed to be 72 and tomorrow only 59! Whew. Much more seasonal.
I ended up having a headache all day yesterday--not a super bad one, but it just wouldn't go away, no matter what I tried (painkiller, caffeine, beer, sudafed...usually ONE of those works!). Finally took a nap around 6pm...woke up and decided to just go to bed. So much for that evening...
The belt holster I got for my phone doesn't really work with a lightweight summer skirt. Shoulda gone for the reticule.
I'm picturing you with a shoulder holster, now, whipping out a phone instead of a gun.
That would be pretty badass. Maybe too badass for the office.

Yep. I stayed home yesterday, but I logged into work for a few hours to take care of some urgent business. Right now I'm tipping caffeine down my throat as much as possible so I can be a good host when Shir gets here for lunch.

I know I've been evangelizing it a lot lately, but, try Nasacort, if you haven't tried it. That stuff is amazing.
I really love the Nasacort. It made a huge difference for me. I'm trying to cut down my usage of it, but today I took a full dose because I know I'm going to be out weeding and stuff. But seriously, I was, like, quarantined before it, so thanks for the rec.
I had no idea there was so much flower deception in horse racing.
I know! Shocking.

Last year, my doctor gave me a prescription for Nasonex, which is pretty similar, and it worked pretty well but was really expensive. So when I saw Nasacort OTC, and found a ton of coupons for it, I figured it was worth a try, and it actually works better than the prescription did. (Plus, I worked out a way next week to get three of the 60-spray bottles for about $4. It required trading a few coupons with a friend to get enough of them, but the ones my friend wanted were for hair color, and I probably would have just thrown those out after they expired anyway.)
Nasacort has been pretty magical for me. I mean, I'm also taking Nasalcrom and Claritin and sometimes additional stuff, but introducing Nasalcort into the mix made an immediate and noticeable difference.
ETA: I'm already trying to work out when to start taking it again in the Fall, although maybe I'll just wait until my symptoms start this year (if I can get ahead of my symptoms with the Nasalcrom it's much better than if I wait, because it takes about a week to start working, but I think the Nasalcort kicked in faster)
I was mixing it at first, but at this point I'm down to Nasacort daily, and Benedryl if I'm having a particularly miserable night and need to sleep. But that's it. And the Nasacort doesn't seem to have any side effects for me at all.
I should pick up some for the DH to try.
I am at sea without work to anchor me. I wish I had my old brain back, the one I had last year.
