That would be a house worth lusting after, and INVESTING in.

That house has the kitchen floor my mother wouldn't let me get!
But what do you put on your timesheet? "Getting saner--3.5 hours"?
Ever more grateful I've never had to fill out a project-based timesheet. I once had a jackass boss who did a project of making us account for every 15 minutes for a while, and that was a g.d. nightmare. "Complaining about this report" = "Coordinating with colleagues."
I'll have to remember that one. I don't have to do timesheets but thats a good phrase to have in my back pocket.
Ugh, we have very limited options of things to put on our time sheets, and certain expectations of how many hours we would bill based on our assignments--and sometimes that is so off. Travel days are easy though--X hours on plane, Y hours at the site, done. It's the at home days that get complicated.
Flea, I want that house, it's super! Maybe not the New Yorker covered bathroom. But the rest of it.
Yeah, that's what I'm happy not to have to do.
JFC work is trying to kill me.

I've always liked the way black-and-white checkerboard kitchen floors look, but I believe the people who tell me that they never look clean, because what doesn't show up on the white shows up on the black.
It's a beautiful house, flea. I wonder if there's a money-making opportunity in being a person who acts like a crazy neighbor or mutters about the drains to scare off other buyers.
Ginger is good at this game. I especially like optimizing potential. I think I'll mark that post for my next round of self-evals...
Thwart the homicidal work, sarameg!
Those are based on Connie Willis' Bellwether, which is a wicked skewering of corporate BS.

I have these on the wall next to my desk. Love that book.
