It's the warmest in the house that it has been since last summer (75 down here at the moment) and so naturally, Pumpkin is sprawled on top of the microwave on top of the fridge all cat-puddly. Which, of course, it is the hottest spot downstairs.

Well. What none of the inspections and test drives revealed about this car is that when the engine gets to temperature, it will die under 1200 rpm, and may or may not start up again. Which did not appear until after the registration was done and the payment made.
Fuck.
And it was bought As Is. But that's why we did the inspections.
Lemon laws?
And frankly, I'd go back to the people you bought it from (AND the inspection folk) and pull the cancer card. Maybe that's mercenary of me, but you don't need this shit.
We've already played the cancer car, and the finance person at the dealership was quick to point out that Utah doesn't have lemon laws and made sure we were clear on As Is. And we've got too much medical stuff to deal with in the next few days.
I'm going to double check the lemon laws.
In the dealership's favor, they said several times they hadn't had a chance to inspect the thing themselves.
