I just went to investigate why/what was making that odd noise from the garage, and it turned out Charlie was pawing at the door that leads to the back yard, so I thought he needed to go out, so I opened the door, and there was Dita on the outside side of the door.
I have absolutely no idea how she got out there either.
The good news is that Charlie was concerned about Dita's welfare.

I have a sentence diagramming question:
How would you diagram any piece of dialogue?
For example, "'I cannot fathom why anyone might care,' she said."
My brother just stopped by for a brief visit. He's convinced he's got cancer and complained the whole visit. Really? I mean, I agree he's not healthy, but now seems like a great time to let go of his imaginary cancer.
It's chilly this morning! I'm not running the a/c and my house is cooler on every floor than it has been in a month! I'm unreasonably giddy. And possibly need to put on more garments.
