I look more rad than Lutheranism

I still make a parking joke based on Cheers, whenever we park somewhere and then walk past an open parking spot that's closer. (Woody was lying in the street by the curb, saying "Don't move me! Don't move me!" Rebecca came out and said "Oh my god, Woody! What happened?" And he kept repeating "Don't move me!" until Sam drove up in his sports car, at which point he jumped up and said "Okay, back it in, Sammy!")

So when we walk past an empty spot, I often say "You lay down there and I'll go get the car!" It's pretty much only funny to me.

Unrelatedly, does anyone remember the name of the pen and paper task management system that Leise uses, that involves just writing everything down with check boxes-- I think the name has a focus in it, but I don't think it is omni focus.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know the answer to your question, Sophia, but I was just wondering--what task management systems do you guys use? Paper, electronic, PC, phone, what?

I switch it up a lot, but I am better with paper things somehow. I think the act of righting jogs my memory in a particular way.

Because books.

I use a paper datebook, and lots of scraps of paper with lists on them. Nothing else works for me. I tried Google calendar and then forgot to ever look at it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Was it this? [link] The name doesn't sound familiar, but the image does...

I have a stupid complicated system using paper (to do lists and calendars), Googletasks, Google calendar, Omnifocus (on my phone, tablet, and laptop) iCal, and sticky notes. And the occasional back of an envelope, but I try to avoid that. Needs rethinking but I do not have time for that.

information libertarian

... and your chief export is chrome!

I tell you, I spent 3 weeks in Albania in 2001, and that was in my head the whole damn time.

-t that looks right to, but when I read about it, that one seems much more complicated. This one is sort of- write down everything, draw a line, write down more stuff after the line, do stuff.

Punishingly Intricate

How is that not just making a list of everything you need to do?

I've been using Evernote a lot more lately -- so I can separate tasks by topic. It works somewhat well if I can remember to record the tasks as they arise.

I can't remember-- that's why I wish I knew the name so I could look it up. There was something about moving items under the line at a certain time?
