And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So, should we all band together and buy a haunted Venetian island?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Tonight we're going to see a house that's not yet listed

Oooh, where is it?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Met an unfortunate woman at the end of the festival today while cleaning up. Started off as a normal visitor question about what's in bloom and quickly spiraled into emotionally/mentally unbalanced ranting while her husband looked away in embarrassment. There was such a mix of searching for peace and tranquility in the gardens and so much vitriol for those in her life who hated her and never thanked her or hugged her. I gave her a long hug and tried to steer her towards positive emotions and attitude and doing things to make herself happy instead investing time and emotion into people who didn't appreciate her and then politely disengaged from the conversation.

And of course she was so loud that the three coworkers off a ways overheard and wondered what the heck she was ranting about when she said she didn't think she'd behaved inappropriately. It makes me sad and hope that I'd done the best I could for her in that situation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, should we all band together and buy a haunted Venetian island?

Wow, that sounds like at least a couple seasons of AHS. Vineyards, though, I like the sound of that.

Probable bunny arrival in a couple of hours! My local Petco didn't have any cages or hutches I liked the look of, so I am borrowing one from the rescuers. I hope it fits on my piano bench.

Oh, also, paging Kat. I think I'm going to your niece's graduation. Is there any chance you'll be there?

No. We weren't invited (we are seeing her in Vegas immediately after). I love that you were invited!

We saw the house - it's on Morrison Place, Teppy. Great location, a good-sized tudor (2000 square feet) with some nice features (wood fireplace) and a lot of thoughtful customization over the 44 years the owner has lived in it. She is pretty cool; I have a fondness for forthright and feisty old ladies. The big downer to me is the yard, which is tiny. It's a 50 foot wide lot and probably 80 deep, but the house takes up a lot of that. The price she is planning to list it at is a little high I think but we could probably come to something we could both live with.

Casper, of course, loves it, but she loves every house we look at.

That's a nice neighborhood over there. I used to take walks there when I lived on Morrison on the other side of Ludlow.

You'd be close to about 300 Indian restaurants and a rapidly growing number of both bakeries and taco joints in Northside. What more could you want? And when the co-op food market opens in Keller's location, it'll be fantastic.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

More shelter kitties!
