Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, it's morning here in Lesotho. I could not fall asleep for the life of me last night -- maybe that's jetlag? Or possibly being bored until 3pm and then super-engaged until 8 or so.... Anyway, I set an alarm to wake up this morning. Come to find out, my colleague did not! And took an allergy pill, and overslept! So now I'm waiting on her. Good times.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, time zones are complicated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At least I finally figured out how to make my phone show me the correct time. My computer still thinks it's 2am. Which, I mean, it is in Boston....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, I get so used to my phone adjusting automatically that I forget everything doesn't.

I really don't know why my phone couldn't figure out what time it is here -- it was giving me the right weather!

Jesse, your phone had jetlag too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Mundanely, I bet Jesse's phone had "location services" turned off. Jetlag is a lot more interesting.

Librarian Warlord

Tomorrow I will be in Dallas and will get to see msbelle & Heather! You may all admit to your jealousy, now.

Unfortunately, before tomorrow comes there is today, which includes a faculty meeting with the longest agenda ever.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am jealous (not of the meeting).

I am mildly aggravated, as I always am after a holiday, that I have to work five days this week. But I've got a half hour Meet & Greet with Buddy Valastro in the middle of today, that should make a nice break.
