I definitely mentioned this trip at some point! I am sure of it.
The good news about the new robot economy is that only the numbers matter on a check anymore.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

So fine, she says she's putting a new check in the mail yesterday. Lo and behold, I get it today...and she didn't sign it. I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING.
Just deposit it. I bet it goes through no problem.
I just sent it through the ATM for deposit and it went through fine.
I was going to just go to an ATM, and I figured it would probably go through. (I haven't changed my last name legally yet, but the AMA makes checks out to my married name -- at my request [in my defense, I didn't mean to be a slacker] -- and so the teller won't deposit checks made out to my married name, but the ATM doesn't give a shit, so I deposit them there.) I think that signatures -- or the absence thereof -- don't really matter in the 21st century. The automatic processor just looks for the routing number, etc., and processes it.
I HOPE.

Not where you were going. You are all about mysterious travel to unknown destinations lately!
Still no internet or phone at home. I don't know how you dealt with it, Consuela. Other than by being a better person than me. Goddamnit, I have a constitutional right to have my couch and my internet in the same room!

Partly, it just seems so unlike me to even be here, it's hard to believe until I'm actually here.

Dana, I basically had no internet at my parents' house this weekend and I read about 5 books. Granted, three of them were Avatar the Last Airbender trades, but they're pretty long.
I don't know if I know anyone (other than possibly my father, because one needs to do that) who's ever been to Lesotho.
You know me! I went to Lesotho, er, [does math] ... 12 years ago? Good lord. Anyway: Have fun, Jesse!
I think there was other stuff I wanted to comment on, but, no brain.
