Just out smarted myself. Thought I left my boarding pass at home as I was pulling out my I'd and headed to the counter to get it reprinted and realized it was tucked in the back of my book. Dur.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Timelies all!
I don't know how to drive manual. Nobody in my family knew how, so I was never taught. (Gary doesn't know how either.)
I meant to say, -t, worry not for my azalea,
HOORAY!
Because obviously me and my tender feelings are the important considerations here.
Everyone who ever tried to teach me to drive stick shuddered in horror and stopped after 15 minutes.
Driving a car is full of enough peril, IMHO.
Tasks I oneroused today: made dentist appointments for children; acquired babysitter for Thursday; made haircut appointment for me for Thursday; purchased plane tickets for complicated summer travel (this required making a chart, in addition to spending $2000).
Can I get a gold star?
Noah and I have done two days of couch to 5K. YAY US!
I hath arrived in SLC. Gonna check in and then find dinner and booze.
I just figured out who I waited in line for the ladies room with at the play on Saturday--Rosalind Chao. [link] Boy, is she beautiful. like, gasp-inducingly so. Seemed very nice--not that we talked about anything but the length of the line...
Today was a completely miserable Monday of Mondays. Including being short with a customer. She deserved it. When I got 2 blocks away from the office I went to text DH and noticed I left the phone at the office. Bobby asked if he should go back. Hell no.
I prefer driving a manual although my current car is automatic. When I need a stick fix I can drive Bobby's Jetta. My car when I lived in Pittsburgh was auto, for which I was grateful. It seems like it would be a lot of bother to drive stick in San Francisco too. I like it when it is more fun, but I don't consider it fun in heavy traffic with hills. Too much effort.
