Jake was lovely in The Unit. Well, they all were.

I'm partial to Jake, but I don't like that he left with Olivia. And, good lord woman, who runs away to start a new life and takes her old phone with her? I still kinda like Huck, although only if he stays the hell away from Quinn. She's surprisingly boring for an assassin or whatever.
Lovely sight: dad out walking a large but very puppyish dog. Along with his teenage kids. Daughter was holding dad's hand and son, who towered over him, kept slinging a hand over dad's shoulder and leaning into him. They were talking, and when they saw me on the deck, waved and wished me happy spring and continued on their way. As they passed, son one-arm-hugged dad and I heard him say 'Perfect night for a walk.'
Now I want to go hug my dad. They were adorable.
I like Jake's brand of doggedness especially regarding Olivia is endearing, if unearned by her. There is something about Scott Foley that I just find charming -- I think I feel bad at how his character was treated on Felicity and he has earned my good graces since then.
OMG you guys. Another car chase ending in massive fatal crash right by the same intersection. Only with this one the shooting happened both during and after the crash. As in, someone got out of one crashed car and walked over and shot someone in the other crashed car. Crazy.
Wow.
Funny thing? Chicago Fire had an incident take place at the same intersection on this week's episode (though not actually filmed there).
Ick. That is some scary stuff.
We are just outside of some gang contested areas, but it's not usually so dramatic.
That's freaky!
Doves have an egg in my hanging basket this morning. And 3 baby goats at market this morning! The 3 week olds nigerian dwarfs are steady on their feet now and one was busy headbutting with a 2 week old non-dwarf twice his size. Hilarity.
Now I've got to finish this sandwich and head off to Ellicott City.
