I look more rad than Lutheranism

I get irrationally angry at myself when I bite my lip accidentally. Like, body of mine, WHY are you hurting YOURSELF??? No one wins here! STAAAAHP.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Meep, Ginger! That's enough of that.

didn't they cut the season short at the last minute?

Sure felt rushed. Possibly if they had hit all those beats differently I would have enjoyed the twistiness more, I don't know.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, the finale was pretty disappointing, and I was down for whatever up until that point.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The problem is that instead of a smart and capable Olivia Pope, at least professionally, all season we had Hot Mess!Olivia.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think she made each of the characters except Mellie (?!?) become reprehensible monsters.

Sure, that's true. But I think that actually was the plan, so. Eh.

I keep taking food out of the freezer and not eating it. I think I need popcorn now while I watch FNL.

I remember thinking early on that Mellie was the only one who was honest with herself and really clear on her motivations. She might do something vile and gut you in the process, but she didn't sugar coat it. The rest of the lot were a hot mess and that kept them in hot water.

I honestly don't know if Shonda intended that direction for Mellie or if they just fell in love with the actress in that role. It seems like she started out a bit in the background, then they saw her chew through a delivery and, like the rest of us, went MORE.

Banister time. Oy.

I think they went too far making Mellie sympathetic. I liked her better heartless and manipulative. Man, I don't even know what needs spoiler-fonting, I only have vague points to make.

Me too, -t. Giving her a rape to explain away all the bad behaviour, pretty much, and to maintain the marriage too? Talk about sins of the father.

Okay, I need a queer education. When would you tell someone you're a Pillow Princess, and what's a Stone Butch? And a million other terms I am now learning I know nothing of. I would like to redress this fault.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've never heard either of those terms.
