Thank you -t! I was wondering where I'd heard I should take 1 deduction even if I was married. It's 8 years since I filled out the W4.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Had a workshop for a total of one participant (three had signed up) but that was okay (one hadn't paid yet and has a rep for flaking, and the other paid but is a horrible person so I'm glad to get to keep her money). We had good conversation and my intern made a spring basket to give to her boyfriends mother and I made one to give to somebody we might want to thank for services rendered or butter up for the future.
mac of source disputes what the teacher's wrote me in email. Do I just call him a liar?
Hmm. So far my allergies haven't been too bad this spring. It could be menopause (that helped with Mom's allergies and I've gotten there) or cutting out wheat for the past month. Either way I'll take it.
Sorry Mac's testing you, msbelle.
Maybe act interested or confused, msbelle? "Really? That's so weird that your teacher got that mixed up. Show me the work you did, and I'll make sure to talk to her & get it straightened out." So you're still on his side, but making him own it? (Disclaimer: Not a parent, my theories are untested and possibly useless).
OK, my Zyrtec and Nasacort combination was working pretty well, until I just went grocery shopping and had to walk through the huge display of flowers that they now have at the front of the produce department instead of over in the floral department where it used to be. Ow, my sinuses. But at least I'm just getting allergy trouble from extreme stuff like that, and not from, like, being outside anywhere.
Ugh msbelle, I'm sorry he's being so hard on this one.
I am so tired I don't know how we can possibly leave tonight, but it's not really my decision. Oh well. I guess that's why caffeine was invented. I'm hoping the boys see reason and agree with me to leave in the early hours of the morning instead.
Connie, we'll be in Provo, which I think is near you, right?
One if my regular afternoon visitors interrogated me about allergies given the high winds casting pollen and dust about. I've been surprisingly fine. But I made the mistake of telling a coworker that ever since D was fired, my migraine had gone away. So of course it came back the same night.
The very thought of you . . .
Calli, I hit perimenopause (I think) about the same time that my allergies seem to have gotten markedly worse (and to have new triggers), which Dr. Google tells me is a thing that happens. Oh the wonders of the human body!
Went for my Sunday training run, finally. Not too bad, evaded one zombie mob, felt very very slow but according to the GPS my pace was not too bad.
My occasional landscaping crew is here, hooray!I was gonna have to mow tomorrow.
How to fruit?
I don't have any problem with blueberries--I have them with porridge every morning, so buying two packs at a time is never an issue. But strawberries! Even when I feel like I'm snorfling them, at least one goes bad within three days.
But I don't stop buying them, because the organic ones are so delicious. In fact, with my sore throat now, they feel kinda perfect.
Botox is starting to kick in expression wise. Unfortunately it takes weeks to tell if it will have any effect headachewise.
Nick Denton is doing strange stuff. I can't work out if he's diluting his brand by having so many side blogs. Now there's a space one, an animal one, a TV, Movie, Art, etc club.
Or maybe he just wants people to never leave.
