Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

NasalCrom is what NoseConan swears by.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The Claritin and Zyrtec both have big DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN ONE DOSE IN A DAY notices in the documentation

Nah, my doctor has told me to take 2 claritin/zyrtec/allegra (basically, whichever one I had on hand) for really bad allergy attacks. You can take 2 a day if you need to.

I've been using Nasalcrom with some success, but that's prevention only, not treatment.

I think Nasacort is meant to be preventive, too, not treatment.

Because books.

Benadryl is really the only rescue med for a bad allergy attack, isn't it?

Benadryl acts more quickly, but the 2nd- (or is it 3rd?) generation antihistamines (claritin, zyrtec, allegra) are still antihistamines and do work to stop an allergy attack -- just not nearly as quickly as benadryl does.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can take 2 a day if you need to.

Oh, excellent news!

Unrelatedly*, earlier I couldn't remember what the name of a vodka + oj was. (I mean, you can call it vodka and oj, but I knew it had an alternate name.) And it got me all worried that my mental acuity is slipping and I need to get tested -- this, despite the fact that I hadn't actually had a vodka + oj in years and years, so why would I remember the name?

After about 2 minutes I remembered it's a screwdriver. So I guess maybe the dementia hasn't set in yet.

*(It's maybe slightly related in that my allergies are driving me nuts, but then I wondered if it's REALLY a cold, and I'm going out to dinner tonight, so I thought, hey, I could order a vodka + oj for the vitamin C...but wait, doesn't that drink have another name? And then the spiral began.)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I could not remember 4 different people's names last night. People who I have not seen on my FB feed in a while and I wanted to check if they were ok or if it was the FB formula at work again. 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I am one step away from needing a helper.

I will have the applications available soon should anyone want to apply. no pay, but room and board could be arranged. Must love animals and a mess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can only hold so many things in your head at one time! I'm just glad I got to seem slightly smart to my grandboss today, because over the past couple of weeks, every time I've tried to talk to him, I've been so tired I could barely put a sentence together. And it was obvious.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

OK, this is worse than clipping your nails on the subway: [link]

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

You guys know about the walking through doors and forgetting stuff, right? Any time I worry about aging, I just count the doors I walked through and chalk it up to that.

Harking back for a minute to Shatner, one of my favorite moments ever on TV was the ep of 3rd Rock from the Sun where Shatner, playing the Big Giant Head, was met at the airport by John Lithgow's character. Asked how his flight was, Shatner said, "Terrible! There was some horrible creature outside on the wing of the plane!"

Lithgow gasped in horror--"You too!?!"

The airplane passenger Shatner played in the Twilight Zone series was played by Lithgow in John Landis' Twilight Zone movie.
