Conversations I have with my husband: "Have you decided what the plan is for Easter (i.e. are we going to your sister's house or are we hosting?)" "When is Easter?" "Sunday." "THIS Sunday?" "Yes, dear."

I mean, is it too much to once a week look at the calendar? I am looking at it EVERY DAY.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I mean, is it too much to once a week look at the calendar? I am looking at it EVERY DAY.

Our husbands should not be allowed to know each other.

Me: "It's your brother's birthday today."
Him: "What? Today?"
Me: "It's on the calendar in the kitchen, where the food lives. I even HIGHLIGHTED the birthdays so they would jump out at you."
Him: "Yeah, but that doesn't help if I don't look at the calendar."
Me: "Forcing you to direct your eyeballs toward the calendar, and making your brain comprehend what is written there, is where I draw the line at 'helping' you."

I look at 2 calendars every day. Multiple times a day. Sheesh.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can't keep track of holidays at all. Last year I sent out a meeting invite for January 1.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thank god for Outlook, is what. I try to make sure to block off the holidays, because I too have sent out meeting invites for days when the office is closed. "Wow! Everyone is available that day!" Yeah, no.

Birthdays now are Facebook or nothing for me. Although I am trying really hard to remember to order my mother flowers for when I'm out of town on her bday next week. I just tried to call the shop, but there was no answer.

Our wings are not tired.

You need a wife, Brenda.

I have to remind DH of sibling and his mother's birthday and all holidays too. Um, that is what calendaring software is for. I wouldn't remember otherwise either. With my memory issues I have always kept everything in one tool or another.

I also would like a wife.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I highlight holidays on my various calendars (both those that work is closed for, and that I just want to know when they are) which works okay except I seem to have trouble knowing what day TODAY is. It just slips my mind, over and over again so I am almost constantly surprised by thinking "Good lord, it's April?", "Seriously, it's Thursday?", or "Third week of the month? Oops" that sort of thing.

Oh, sure. "That's not until the end of the month. What do you mean, that's next week?????"

Also my calendar just informed me I'm on PTO today and tomorrow? I wonder what that was for. Not gonna happen, regardless.

I refused very early on to remember my husband's parents' birthdays. He can do that himself if he wants to. He is also responsible for Christmas shopping for his family (which means he places an Amazon order on Dec. 20, but that is his problem.)

But we've been talking about the Easter thing for a while. He saw his sister last Saturday and they talked about it. And he STILL didn't realize it was this weekend?

My irregular work schedule makes a lot of stuff really complicated, so I am always double and triple checking 2 calendars and still get screwed up sometimes. I put on holidays (federal + my work, which are not the same) and the kids' school calendars (OMG the complicated) a year in advance (or when they become available, whichever comes first).

Shit, I've ordered Christmas flowers for my grandmother on 12/23. They still get there!
