Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, msbelle, that does sound infuriating. BUT I am excited for mac to be reading The Outsiders.

I rescued a dog today and put him back in what I thought was his yard on the right side of the gate, only to then realize, "Wait it might not be his yard" (there was already a dog there). So I left a note saying, "I left a dalmatian in the yard, is it yours?" Luckily it was.

Ha! I am reminded of the time a neighbor kid basically threw a big orange kitty in my door when I opened it. Nice thought, except it wasn't my cat.

My IT department does not understand why our client-facing helpdesk would need non-stale user information. Don't even get me started on them being cranky that a system that serves out proprietary data (per NASA!) might just need non-stale information for authentication.

I want to stab people with forks.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Further evidence that Finland is an awesome country: Finland to offer Tom of Finland gay bondage art stamps - Boing Boing

NSFW. That's right--Finland has NSFW gay stamps.

That's fantastic.

Mornings are more interesting here in the new building. Pull into the parking lot, get out of the car, smirk at the backup on the freeway, scan the valley to see if anything's burning yet, nod to the NSA complex on the other side of the freeway. I wonder if they stare at us as much as we stare at them.

edit: And just down the highway is a Flash Technologies facility. The road into their campus is called Flash Drive.

Cute.

Rabbits have an ETA of the last week of April, whee!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Flash Drive, hee.

From my patio I can see the main road. Sometimes I watch the long line of cars at rush hour, of people who live in the country and work in town. I am so so glad I work from home.

-t, I'm looking forward to your adventures with your new bunnies!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Me too! I will have to think about whether I will change their names, and to what...(currently Vera and Lucy. Already in the house, Walter Dog, Pixie Cat, Jadzia Cat, and Wednesday Cat (I do actually address them like that sometimes) Maybe one of them should be Jessica?)

So, I'm enough better that I sit here on the couch thinking "I'm fine! I'll go running in a little bit, or Clean All the Things since I have the day off" but then I'll make a cup of tea or empty the dishwasher and it totally wipes me out. So, not entirely well, yet.
