That sounds almost as good as a donut hula hoop.
No. Because you can always haul yourself out for a donut the next morning. The handsome young man in the rafters, and the extra rooms, are a little harder to alleviate.

I was not considering the "to dream of good things and awaken not to have them is suffering" aspect. Good point.
Wow, everyone was dreaming last night!
I've also had those "find new rooms in your house" dreams. I read once what they were supposed to mean, but I've forgotten. I had dreams that were only depressing on waking, because I am not, in fact, starting to date a girl who is very cute and a good kisser. Though then there was this weird segue where I overheard her arguing with her twin sister, who thought I was too much drama, and then suddenly it was all Jane Austen up in the place and she was saying she is in the Army and I am my parents' heir....but that part wasn't so distressing, more surreal.
For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, our taxes are not done. And now, working on them, I have discovered that the online software we use has eliminated a feature it always used to have.
We may be slightly fucked.
Oh, crap, Dana. I'm sorry.
Tax day the the public library is less fun than you'd think.
I made steel cut oatmeal in the slow-cooker overnight. I think cooked too long. I put cinnamon in them, but no sugar and I am not sure I am gonna make it through this serving. I think I need to add some fruit or honey.
Worse than Unshelved has taught me, flea? That's pretty bad.
I am sorry, Dana.
I have the extra rooms dream, but for some reason it is in the house my high school friend grew up in, which did actually have extra rooms that they had shut up until they could remodel them. But there are even more rooms in the dream.
Then I have the dream about forgetting to drop a class/not being able to find a class.forgetting to go to a class and realizing I have to take the final and I am going to fail and have to stay at college for an extra semester. My plan is to try to petition the registrar/academic affairs, but I can never find the office, or I don't know the actual course number etc.
The other dream is usually about trying to travel somewhere and not finding the transportation properly or missing it etc. I often have the same dream that there is a train where if you get off in NYC and walk through a lot of construction, there is a really good fabric store, and if I turn left and take the subway another way there is a street of shops and my old friend sophie.
The other variation is that I am in my city, but in a bad part of town, but there are interesting shops- and somehow I have fallen off the expressway. Then there is a school that I can break into and go to their costume storage and steel costumes.
I have very boring, predictable dreams.

Wailing, gnashing of teeth?
