This was the character I met tonight at the pool: [link]

I knew he was full of stories (and not just the ones he told me tonight.)

... and, yup. I'm on the jury. Bah. So boring. I'm so used to not being empanelled because I have a JD, I just assumed they didn't want me. But even if they didn't want me, they pretty much ran out of challenges by the time they got to me.

So the trial runs through Thursday, and we have Friday off, and then probably deliberate on Monday. Argh.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The last time I was in Heathrow, there was a vending machine selling burner phones just past security in the terminal.

Eek, good luck with the jury, Suela! Kind of dreadful timing, isn't it?

I just got an email for this coming weekend's big dance tournament--I volunteered for one session (2 hours), but they listed out the still-open session and DANG, there's a lot still open. I feel bad for them...but don't have any intention of adding even more hours.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The last time I was in Heathrow, there was a vending machine selling burner phones just past security in the terminal.

Oh, I remember that! I should have bought one there but I was in a hurry to get to Baggage Claim. But I'm flying into Dublin this time. If there's one there too, I'll nab me one.

OK, something to brighten the day: a video compilation of baby goats doing baby goat things: [link]

OH! My goat creamery people told me I should come visit them anytime. And I think I will. Also, their chevre is to die for. It tastes of spring and fresh and happy.

It's true!! But also there caramel sauce? YUM! I want to visit the goat creamery!!

Yeah, the caramel is something else. Have you tried their cheesecake? Also, so smooth and fresh. Just look 'em up on the fb and send them a message. I imagine it could be a fun field trip with the twins!

I wish I could give them more business but there is actually only so much goat dairy products I can consume without exploding. Sans wine night, the chevre will last at very least a week. I I'm indulgent.

Goats are awesome... caramel sauce even awesomer.

I took Grace to UCLA to see her doctor today. The pulmonologist and the ENT are in agreement that we should try to decannulate her. It will mean another surgery and at least two nights in the hospital. And it may work or it may not. I'm not sure.
