I am out of the house to get my first real pedi post foot surgery. My last one I was still the the boot and really had a one foot pedi and the other foot trimmed and polished. Anyway, headed out of the house in sandals and it is snowing. Nothing is sticking yet so I said fuck it and kept going. Might be interesting getting home.

I have been surprised, almost shocked, by a news story. In a town I drive through every day to work, at that. Click on the link at your peril. I'm serious.

I'm in Springfield, at a country club, of all places. My iPad battery failed hours ago, so I've been watching golf and baseball at the bar. And it wasn't even Red Sox baseball.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Amy, thanks, sometimes music helps. I have a mix, somewhere. Thanks for reminding me of it!

Vortex, thank you. I will try to ignore the brain weasels of despair!

Connie, that's dreadful, and there just has to be more to that story. I want to know, and yet I don't.

Suzi, good luck with all that!

Sister was tired from the yardwork she already did at her place and was easily dissuaded from doing more. She agreed with all my plans for the house and yard! I keep forgetting, my sister isn't the same person she used to be; she's calmed down a lot the last couple years. I think it's the medicine...

Speaking of which, now is the time for alcohol. And mac-and-cheese. My brain weasels and I are going to go watch some television.

So many things had to occur for that to happen, and such an incredible level of unawareness.

Our wings are not tired.

Yikes, that is truly a horrible article. Reminds me of why I don't watch our local news. Just Wow! And no one including her kids knowing. I don't know how that is even possible.

Super news, Zen. Sounds like things fell into place quite nicely. Btw, I saw my cousin Cindy last night and she asked for you. She travels all the time but gets to Florida every month or so.

Laura, Cindy of the Tarot cards? That reminds me, I owe her an email.

not your mom's socks.

I'm nearish to Springfield, I think, Polgara - if you need anything, or nothing at all.

Why did I click? That is horrific.

Snow still isn't sticking but it is still coming down. Pedicure is almost done then off to the grocery store. Wheeeeeeeee.

Yes, Zen. I hadn't seen her since my birthday because she hasn't been back here since then. She's insanely busy all the time.
