Our wings are not tired.

I'd be delighted to add ginger and turmeric, and could dump potatoes and eggplant, but the lack of tomatoes and peppers in my life would be a hardship I don't think I could bear.

After going through bunion surgery for the hope of doing another marathon in my life I started having pain in the top of my foot. Doctor says it is arthritis! Really doc, it wasn't there before the surgery. Grrr.

I know Glucosamine and Chondroitin helped a great deal for my knees and hips when I did a lot of mileage. A Lot.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, the surgeon tried to pass it off as unrelated, but it didn't come on that quickly. It kind of defeats the purpose.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The main thing you can to to possibly prevent or reduce arthritis is try to relieve stress on the joints. That can include ergonomic workspaces and addressing any mechanical issues that affect the feet and knees. Also, pick your ancestors wisely.

The only diet changes I know of with any research support are a Mediterranean-style diet and drinking more milk.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I sat out on the patio and read, and also filled up a large paper yard waste bag with vines. If I declared my backyard a vine garden, I'd be a master gardener without having to lift a finger. Alas.

LIke I said, no nightshades is completely unscientific. I suspect the people it works for are allergic to the stuff being eliminated.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, I just agreed to sing in the choir tomorrow, which means leaving at 8:45. So early!

Other than that, I've just gone to see my father and done a lot of work on the DVR.

choir member for the 8:30 service gives thou the stink eye.

Not to mention that we are asked to sing both services both tomorrow and Easter.

Which in Texas speak means - up early and we won't even beat the Baptists to lunch.
