So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats Tom on the win, and sorry about the loss of your favorite bar.

The status is NOT quo.

Hurray, Tom!

Oof, Sara, I’m so, so sorry. Stomach bugs are the worst.

So I am apparently a crazy person, because for my second half marathon, I’ve decided to do San Francisco (the first half of the course) this summer: [link]

I am in denial about the elevation map.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats Tom on the win, and sorry about the loss of your favorite bar.

That^^. Also sara, sorry you're barfy. I had food poisoning a few weeks ago and one of my friends dropped off ginger ale and crackers and Pedialyte (making me feel loved, aww), and I found I prefer red Gatorade to Pedialyte, but other Gatorades are gross.

Kate Middleton's red jacket with the double line of shiny buttons and padded shoulders, that looks like she is physically prevented from slumping by a ramrod sewn into the very lining? That is the most British piece of women's wear ever constructed.

I inadvertently, in passing, in conversation, promised to run the local marathon next year. Considering I can barely do a mile in half an hour right now, and considering I'm lazy as shit, this may be overly optimistic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, flatness is an important component of my deciding where I'm gonna run. More power to you, Pix.

And you, Zen. Do you really feel committed to doing it?

Janelle Monae is just delightful, isn't she?

I'm intrigued by the possibility. Like, I've never been athletic, even when I was young and thin. The idea that maybe I could try to do something like that feels daring and scary. I don't know.

Sara, I recommend Vitamin Water. Not as many electrolytes, but still good and WAY less sweet, which for me is key when I'm nauseated. Wish I still lived near(ish), I would have come up.

Ugh. Problem with nice weather--open my windows and voila, LOUD ASS NEIGHBOR CONSTANTLY. I don't know what it is but his voice is SO LOUD. Hell be talking to someone else in his apartment and all I hear is him and a faint mumble mumble from the other person. It bugs the crap out of me until I want to scream "OH MY GOD SHUT UP WHY ARE YOU SO LOUD?!?"

I doubt that would be a good plan though.

In that case, I support daring and scary. Take the opportunity to explore that option.

Boo on loud neighbors.

Hope this morning is less nauseating, sara

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hah -- just noticed that Tropical Cyclone Ita is predicted to hit Australia soon!

Funny thing is, there was never much nausea. Just puking!

That seems to be done. But I've got to rehydrate. And I'm pretty wiped out still. Taking another day.
