You mean people would request hard buns for their burgers? This is a desired thing? I prefer not to cut my gums on my bread.

Well, if you have a lot of goop on your burger, you want a hard roll- Rochester has a lot of meat hot sauce. Also the choice always seemed to be between a hard roll (kaiser roll) and those hamburger buns you get for the backyard barbecue that are like 50 cents for the whole package of 12 and disintegrate when you try to put a burger on them.
See this menu [link] The goopier items (blue cheeseburger) have the hard roll, the less goopy have the bun, but you really need the hard roll if you have hot sauce.
And you people have to be talking about food.
I was congratulating myself on maybe 6 oz of water and no puking for 3 hrs. And then going upstairs, I puked up the stairs.
Towelled it all up, but I should mop it down and dear god, I am wobbly and feverish and achy and no energy. I'm guessing this is a stomach bug, not food poisoning.
I'm also guessing there's no way in hell I'm swimming tonight.
Meh, sarameg, that's the worst. My co-worker called out sick with a stomach flu today so I wonder if there's something going around.
The stomach flu hit the whole household last week when I was visiting my sister's family in MA, so it's definitely going around.
Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Posting here yesterday definitely helped, even though I had to delete it all.
I have a cold, and it is making my diet Coke taste like diet Pepsi? That's weird, right?
My coworker had the puking this weekend! And now is in the office....
Unfun, sarameg
I saw your post on FB Polgara, I can't even imagine the thoughts that roll through when random people you know post that kind of stuff on their walls. Ugh. Glad you said something.
I hope this passes quickly, sarameg.
I'm sorry for what you're going through, Polgara.
Old article, but what I found interesting was how long it took me to get through it *without* stopping and skimming and looking for key words and major points: [link]
I am sorry too, Polgara, although I missed it and I do not know who you are IRL.
I think I have always read like that.
