I'm sorry about your dad, Jesse.
That sucks, Burrell.
I made teriyaki pork and cabbage in miso custard.

Excellent choice. I don't know if this applies, but I certainly know what it's like to want to yell, "You can't die. I'm still pissed off at you."

I like it! Currently this tiny restaurant only serves me and Walter and occasionally the cats. It's running at a loss, of course, but I hear that's not uncommon.
I'm sorry for your loss, Polgara. And for the mixed emotions.

Yes! I agree. I am very often very curious about what the heck you are eating. :)
I love the idea of -t's restaurant! I've also been known to want to book a table at Consuela's place, and Kat's! Hec runs a heck of a diner too. We have lots of yummy foodies.
I am so tired, I need to go to bed early. I had to read over 17 15-40 page essays today. My brain and eyes are both tired. I don't know how you do it, Kat, grading 50 papers a day or more.
Woke up at 5. Promptly barfed up everything. Waves of barfiness every 30m-hr in which I barf up all that's left in my system: bile. And get all sweaty and shaky and lie on the bathroom floor.
I am very very unhappy
Oh, no, sarameg! Try to sip some water when you can. I hope whatever it is stops.
If you chug Pepto Bismol at least you have something to vomit up....
(I hate vomiting with the passion of a thousand burning suns. But it's still better than dry heaving.)
