Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, and speaking of Target and coupons, if anyone wants to buy any toys, especially Captain America stuff or any of the various Nerf weapons or FurReal Friends things, there are a ton of ways to combine coupons and offers to get them really cheap at Target this week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why did they cancel Raising Hope? Ratings?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ratings?

Yes, it was always as low rated show.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Bunnies! -t, Clovis is pleased with your choice.

Around here TJ Maxx and Marshalls are the "good" stores, with the various Ross stores being messier and like going to an actual thrift store. But I've found deals at all of them, and learned which designers' merchandise is sent to which type of store. (Marshalls is where Ralph Lauren blazers and Betsey Johnson tights can be found.)

We don't have Ross stores around here, and we have both good and bad TJ Maxx and Marshalls, both in terms of cleanliness and the quality of what they carry.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I slept in big time today. Woke up around 11am. I never sleep that late. Even on vacation, we were up by 8:30 even though we really didn't have to be anywhere in the morning.

It is my first day home alone with nothing specific to do. Yes, there is more new home organizing to do, work I could get a head start on, and basic house cleaning. Instead I think I'm going to marathon a couple of tv shows and jsut be a slug.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay, being a slug!

I assumed ratings, but I have not looked into it. I thought it was doing okay on Tuesday night, but maybe not.

OK, I've made waffles and gotten all the duck eggs hard cooked (some deviled, some steeped in tea, all delicious based on my sampling for quality control), so I guess breakfast is taken care of for a while. I think I'm going to bow to the nigh irresistible pressure from the internet and make some salads in mason jars for lunches. And I should mow the lawn and do my taxes and finish that last lesson for my on-line class. And do laundry. Always there is laundry.

Maybe after I veg on the couch for a little while I will feel more like doing any of that.

Just catching up on this week's Scandal, and I think it's hysterical that B613 is essentially funded using the same scheme that failed in Office Space.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Also, have we talked about the goat-sheep, or geep?

If you had a female geep you could get milk, wool, and a highly entertaining lawn mower out of one critter.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Geep is cute. I needed that.

And yay -t for the bunny! Very good news.

Thanks for the sympathy. I still can't believe it's really happening. Now that I have more details about the kind and extent of her cancer... well... it doesn't look great. I'm holding close to the possibility that her prognosis improves, and that she can enjoy the time she has with her grandkids. I know her, and I know how much she loves those kids (and I know she includes our kids in that circle). But DH is pretty heart broken. I hope we can go see that branch of the family over spring break.
