"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow! That's a lot of steps!

not your mom's socks.

Sending many supportive thoughts your way, Jesse, for you and your mom.

I'm so sorry, Burrell.

Nice. And I totally did the pacing around to get more steps thing before I washed my Fitbit.

You guys, April is going to be so insane. We have a frightening number of projects already, and it's only the 6th. Plus the house, a hockey game, family birthdays and I just don't even know.

Burrell and Jesse, so sorry to hear your news. Best outcomes.

Lovely kitties!

We are just about to get a Marshalls. I've never been to one. But we already have the equivalent of TJ Maxx here, and aren't they owned by the same company? Is there a difference in the stores?

Also, have we talked about the goat-sheep, or geep? He's pretty cute. [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I find Marshall's and TJMaxx to be identical. Which makes sense.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Marmaxx also covers Homegoods, I think.

Geep! So cute.

I feel you, brenda. Probably to a lesser extent but April is looking super busy.

Yeah, our Homegoods equivalent is called HomeSense. Which is a dangerous place for me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry Jesse.

Great pictures, tommy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Here TJMaxx is the nicer store, and the Marshall's is messier because it's in a crummier area, and the HomeGoods is in a crummy area too but it's a really nice store, so I think the messiness of Marshall's is due to the people running it not giving a crap, and not some ambient crumminess. The closest Ross is 30 minutes away. I should go there; I seem to have the best luck at Ross.

So today, instead of going to see Winter Soldier, we're going to get pedicures. My friend has her daughter today so no movie, but she suggested pedicures instead. I don't really want to spend money and time doing something I don't care about instead of doing what I did want to do, and I'm feeling childishly irritated about it. But I do want to spend time with my friend, and her kid is cute and well-behaved, so I'll get over it by the time I meet them.
