The black one is adorable (in the FB video). I like the stationary hop.
Roman Dog has cancer. We aren't treating it beyond trying to keep him comfortable. So the vet put him on prednisone and it's like he's a whole new critter. He actually did the stationary hop thing in the yard. He is also a raging food monster right now. But still cute.
David, those are pictures of the hair up--I wanted it down. More like below, excep in this picture it looks awful and very Kate Gosselin, in the movie it looked good.
Those babies are adorable! I want to snuggle them.
I'm sorry to hear that, Kat. I'm glad to hear Roman is feeling good right now. With luck, the prednisone will keep him feeling that way for a long time.
Sorry about Roman, glad the prednisone is making him perky.
Finished my Zombie 8 week Couch-5k training in only 14 weeks. Walter and I just did 5k around town this morning - my improvised route was pretty good, the Nike app told me I reached my distance goal just as we came in the gate to the backyard.
After the official 5k last week, and inspired by meara's year of monthly 5ks, i signed up for another one 5/3. And after that I realized that Nike has a "coaching" section of it's app and one of the options is improving your 5k performance, and of course it is 8 weeks long, so I signed up for another 5k for 5/31 to give me the 8 weeks of training. I may have lost my mind.
but in a good way, -t
-t, I did my Zombie 5k this morning, too! I'm not so much feeling like signing up for actual 5ks, though
Zombie high-five!
Loved seeing sarameg and Maria last night. We did pretty well despite the crappy forecast. This morning we got up early to do a charity walk in support of juvenile diabetes with our friends whose toddler was diagnosed with it last year. So no baby goat kids for me this morning. Now we are eating bagels and then meeting a friend to ride bikes. Would really like to nap but no time.
You should TOTALLY sign up for a 5K, Debet!! They're shockingly fun. I hadn't done any before my Year of 5Ks, but I loved it. Having many people around and a finish line makes it seem way more awesome. Plus, free stuff at the end! (Well, free if you've paid your race registration, but whatever).
Go -t go!! I just signed up for the Top Pot Doughnut 5K, for the end of the month, where I get a delicious local doughnut at the end, and am very excited about that. And I'm currently signed up for my first 10K in June--not sure how that's going to go. And I signed up for another one in September, because the Oatmeal comic is running a "Beat the Blerch" race, and 10K was the shortest one (there's also a half and full marathon, I think). I would say I'm hoping to be in better shape for that one, but I will have been on European vacation for two weeks beforehand, so I suspect I'll still be jet-lagged!
