So I grabbed Maria for dinner on her way home from the airport and we got bonus lisah and bob out Team Atomic fund-raising for Moveable Feast! (They'll get my $$ soon enough, not tonight, even if they were styling on the stationary bikes!)
The funny thing is, if we'd gone to one of the two other places I was thinking of, we'd have run into other people I know on teams doing benefits for Moveable Feast. I love this town.
I'm plotting to snatch time with Maria whenever she has to fly out of BWI. I'm now conveniently between there and her home. And she has my keys, so she can always crash here if a 2 hr drive is too much. MWUAHAHAHA.
Tomorrow at market, I get to see baby goats. I am WAY TOO EXCITED about this. Not sure if this link will work, but it has had me in tears of laughter all day today: [link]
Born this past week at the creamery.
Baby goats are adorable chaos that other people have to manage. They are fabulous.
I want baby goats! I feel my farmers market should have those. They would be totally hipster. C'mon seattle, get with it!!
"Kids" -- there's a very good, historical term for baby goats. (Tries to not yell about this.)
I feel the same passion about this as I do with faze/phase.
House inspection this morning. Wish me luck!
Good luck!
I avoided using 'kids' for the sake of confusion. Because I also see a lot of human kids at the market and in my everyday. Plus emphasis on BABY. With independently operated front and back ends, apparently. 11 minutes!
