I miss people. Need to have a housewarming, soon.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Aw, I'd love to see you, Allyson. I am always saying we need to have a party, but then I back down when I remember it would involved people seeing my house. But your house is so lovely!
Allyson, I WILL meet up with you for you to show off house (and kitchen work) this TG, ok??
I'm 5 yrs overdue on my housewarming. Maybe it will end up a banister-warming (don't fucking scratch the varnish!)
I want to do a house warming party too. Need another week or two to get the piles put away or hidden and to hang pictures on the walls. I'm really liking the new place. Much more than I expected.
Sorry about falling a apart earlier and then disappearing. Just don't have any more fucks to give but I do still have oxycodone. So the pain is down at least or maybe it hurts but I just don't care anymore.
An after-school tutor, Kat? Why, to keep her up, or something else?
Burrell, what is Palms Magnet?
I want to buy patio furniture and have people over to enjoy it. But that also requires nice weather, which is still quite iffy here for a couple months. Last minute "hey come over it's a nice day today!" is a bit harder to pull off.
Honestly, with meds, a conservative estimate is that you've got 1-3 months past the expiration date, but probably more like 6-12 months.
How about your basic aspirin tablet? Do those really expire? (Not to imply that I have a nearly full bottle with a 2007 date on it.)
Sorry meara, didn't mean to be cryptic. Palms Magnet is a middle school in the area. It is our local middle school, but the magnet means, at least for this school, a school-within-a-school that pulls students from all over the city. Kat has taught there, I think she did some teacher mentoring there or something?
She's happy because she'll be with friends. I'm happy because it has a rep for being a good school, and it's local so she can walk home.
Oh, not cryptic, just curious about more details--I figured it was a magnet school, but wasn't sure if it was a magnet for something special (arts/math/car repair/who knows these days). Yay friends!
My metformin tabs routinely smell like fish. The pharmacist says, "Yeah, they do that." So other than holding my breath when I take them, I don't worry about it.
SO overdue on the housewarming. Maybe this spring will be the spring of the bookshelves, and then we won't have any more excuses.
So, my mother woke me up at 3:30 this morning, because my father was agitated, I ended up taking him for a walk and never really went back to sleep. (The parents did, though!) Good times.
