Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Another friend of mine was just raving about Uber, made me think I'd try it the next time I need a ride somewhere.

I'm sorry about the sucky day, Kat. A day off gone wrong always makes me extra edgy. And as for K, it's hard, the ups and downs of relationships. Without going into details, I can say I feel you on that one as both Cody and I see me as the taker and him as the giver in our relationship. (Not that I don't give, I give a lot. But he sacrifices more than I do.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I plugged it in and charged it overnight and still nothing.

You got all my on and running-ness, Zen!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thanks, Hil!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tim is sitting next to me playing Doge 2048 right now. I think he may move on to Twin Peaks 2048, though.

Uh oh, I didn't need to know about that game. How addicting!

Okay, I'm confused -- what if you get more than 2048? I got 3300 and ran out of spaces on the board.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You got all my on and running-ness, Zen!

Apparently so! I'm terribly sorry.

I'm just glad to know where it went.

2048 isn't the score; you have to see the original game, which uses numbers, to see the progression: [link] Two 2s combine to become 4; two 4s become 8; two 8s become 16, etc., etc.

It's hard as hell just to get a 1024 tile (I think I've only done that once), and two 1024s become 2048, which I've never gotten.
