I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Someone is (was) supposed to call me at 9:30. Let's get this over with, dude.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

L was going to be a pill, anyway.

Oh, I learn the truth of this on a daily basis. Sigh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

L was going to be a pill, anyway.

Yeah, that sounds right. Seems to me it's easier to deal her kvetching about not being included rather than having her there AND dealing with her kvetching over whatever would come up at the event.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a drag, Kate, but you handled it well on your end.

Thanks, guys. In happier news, I am wearing a cute outfit today and the sun is shining and I plan to take a nice walk at lunch. And in an hour I have two high school kids coming in who have offered to be library aides, so I'm looking forward to talking with them and getting them started on a couple of fun projects.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Seems to me it's easier to deal her kvetching about not being included rather than having her there AND dealing with her kvetching over whatever would come up at the event.

So true!

Oh, this. Yes.

I thought I had all the snot last night. Oh, no...my head is full of it and my sinuses are not the least bit pleased. I slept in 20 minute chunks last night and am exhausted but it is the first day back after being out for over a week. Can't call in sick. Guuuuh. Just so glad I don't have to be in the office and I can be all germy at home. Now if only I could get out of the 3 conference calls I have today.

And my brain is driving me nuts. I have typed once for ones multiple times this morning. This is not a normal typo for me.

If I walked a mile to go get doughnuts, that totally burns off the calories from eating said doughnuts, right?
