OK, I give up on my dad's taxes. I think there's a way to save him $20K, but I'm damned if I know how to do it.
So I'm filing an extension.
The down side is that for one of the taxes he's supposed to pay the estimated tax with the extension, which NO, that's the reason I am filing the extension! Damn you, IRS!
t shakes fists eastward
If 20K is on the line, it seems like consulting a professional would be well worth it, no?
I have been at work since 6 am. Omg day will not end.
Sending hugs through the interwebs to you, msbelle
Hi, ita!! It's nice to see your pixels.
Whoo, -t! Yay for running! I did not get my run in today, because I am still recovering from strep and I felt running in the rain would be an especially foolish thing to do.
Hey, I was looking for a dip to serve tomorrow for Bitches' Brunch, and now I have an excellent beet pesto one. Thanks, Consuela!
msbelle, may your work day end swiftly.
Emerald City Comic Con was very fun yesterday, but holy crap kind of overwhelming even for me. Saw some great cosplays, met assorted munchkins from Tumblr, caught up with Beth and the gang from BPAL (and got some fantastic news about some future scents, OMFG), and met a very charming gothy artist who is friends with some of my friends.
With all of that, I am VERY glad I'm not at the con today. It sold out this year, and it is going to be a madhouse today.
It's great to see you, ita.
I have had a cold/cough virus thing for a week. Not amused , especially since I'm running my second half marathon next Saturday and am not remotely ready for it. Ah well.
Also really done with the earthquakes.
I took a nap, which left me feeling worse than when I started.
