Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Damn, people have gotten shit done like mad this morning. My last shoulder procedure is wearing off, so weekends are harder than usual, and I'd be surprised if I left the house today, even though there's a onesie art class I want to go to nearby. I've been trying to work through a block--I've been to a life drawing session, a "salon", and am now contemplating the class.

But I did publish a (n awkward, orange) picture on tumblr and dA yesterday, so that's a bigger deal for me than you could tell by looking.

I think Colin asks after the twins now because he has a little one of his own

To be fair, he has always asked about them (I'm pretty sure he's never met them). But the tenor is different now that he's a father. I can't believe he's supposed to be coming over sometime soon, but not bringing the Bundle (I have no idea if he really has a name--they don't call him anything consistent). Not-crawling is the perfect time to visit my apartment.

I've found my sizing through the now missing chi chi bra store, so I order more of those online wherever is cheapest. Panties are this DKNY sort that mix ruffles, lace, and bows and I far prefer them to anything else.

I also have the ingredients I need to make Cornmeal & Chia Seed Crusted Tilapia for dinner tonight and Chicken Sausage & Shrimp paella tomorrow.

Yum! I think lunch today will be kale salad with quinoa, tuna, apple, orange pepper, and avocado. Not very exciting, but plenty of protein & crunchy things.

I also bought a bunch of beets because I saw this article about beet pesto. I wonder if it's any good?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

there's a onesie art class

I really want to believe this is an art class where all the students wear grownup onesies. Like union suits and footie pjs.

Hmm, googling "beet pesto" gives me lots of recipes.

And check out the color! I like the look of that one, I have some almonds in the freezer I could use...

2 coats on everything and one load of laundry done.

I think the posts will be fine with 2 coats, but the rails will look better with a 3rd. Not too many drippy bits (well, other than the slop on the spindles, but I don't care about that) and where they were a problem, in out of the way places. Which is why there was drip.

( I so wish I were done.)

I'll go swimming in a bit and spend the evening on the 3rd.

I've tried getting pictures without flash, but I think it is too dark in my house + dark stain.

information libertarian

I am so ridiculous about my underpants. I have 2 pairs of the entry-level Hanros ($20) and am dissatisfied. I am not sure whether this means I need to upgrade to the high-test Hanros ($36) or try Calida, or what.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Beets are delicious AND beautiful. Team Beet!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Go -t!

I'm not really into beets, but that pesto is so pretty I might try it.

I have a sinus headache battling it out with a tension headache (going on 5 days now). I'm not sure which is winning, but I know I'm losing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had killer insomnia last night and now I'm trying to plan this week's dinner menu on zero brain power. And the only person in the house and awake other than me is 6.5 years old and not very helpful in this regard.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'll have to remember that next time I have beets. I usually roast 'em and eat 'em and am sad that they are all gone - making pesto would stretch 'em over some more meals, looks like.
