Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Bullet points will take too much space. This is for a brief, one-page version of the resume.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Then definitely not the "I did X" -- just start with the verbs. And if you make those three sentences three bullets, it looks from here like taking up the same amount of space, but I leave that to your discretion.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've had a couple things to do that made me feel like a valuable citizen of the earth, but it's been a while. These days I'd settle for feeling like part of an aligned and motivated team--it's been a couple years since that happened here, no matter how much I struggle.

I've seen a bit of gnashing and moaning about losing 2014 TWOP around, and I had forgotten I didn't read it anymore, that's how far away from it I was. But the archives are definitely something worth hanging onto, especially if they do go all the way back.

Kat--belated twin birthday wishes! Colin asks after them more than I can answer, so I need to remember to tell him they're huge and ancient now.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Hullo, ita!

Interns: given new start dates, no explanation. Boss lady: informed of new start dates with no explanation. ED: will terminate her on Tuesday but if not, new hires will still miss the transition.

Also, old boss lady came to visit because she was closing out the sale of her house. My god, I miss her and have missed her so much.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hi, ita!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just got an email from the hotel for next week asking if there's anything the chef should know, or special preferences for housekeeping to be aware of. I kind of wish I had something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No cilantro? Or all cilantro? Hot and cold running avocados 24/7?

That's pretty sweet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I just spent the entire afternoon at the kids' school serving tea to the second grade mothers. It was lovely! So that's one reason to like my job: easy to take a day off to do something special for the kids' school.

Our wings are not tired.

That is delightful, brenda.

Well, I decided I would take that nap before I drove home. Dropped on the couch in my office at 5 and was out like a light. DH called me at 6:30 with a WORK CRISIS and woke me up. I drove home at that point.

Off to the grocery store. I have a strong desire for a salad with strawberries and walnuts and baked goat cheese rounds. The hankering came on the drive home and it is insistent.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think my employer does important stuff, but sometimes I wonder if I contribute much to that.
