I'm taking off after 2 for a massage and early start to the weekend. My not-as-silly-as-the-cabbage diet book suggested doing something "nurturing" on day 7, and that seemed to fit the bill. It's making it hard to focus on the rest of today's work, though.

So I have this work thing I'm doing that I don't want to talk about yet, but I totally want to talk about nothing else. But I feel like if I talk about it I will (1) jinx it (2) sound like a narcisstic asshole with an inflated sense of self-worth (3) do nothing BUT talk about it as opposed to doing the work.
Does anyone else get this way?

Also, I keep flirting with not finishing the grading I have, even though my students NEED the papers back to do their assessment. I have to finish 2nd period's papers still and that class starts in 20 minutes. So what am I doing instead? Procrastinating, of course.
