I have procured the DVD of Pacific Rim from the library (we are losers who didn't see it in the theater) and cat food from the grocery store. There may also be some truth to the rumor that gluten-free cookies came home with me.
Now work work work. And then yoga.
My life is one nonstop party.
If I can get my mother to take to the totally out-of-the-way Macy's furniture gallery, maybe I can save enough money on a couch to buy all the dresses! As it is, I should hold off.
Those are cute dresses!
However I have learned that I look best in tailored sheath dresses or unstructured shifts, with vertical lines and no small patterns. (I tried on a black-and-white horizontally-striped dress yesterday, and with my hair, I looked like a television tuned to fuzz. So awful.) And I don't have the tiny waist you need for a lot of vintage stuff.
OK, I ran, which is one thing down. Now to call the vet.
Wow, sad about TWoP even if I hadn't been there in a long time. Boo.
Am annoyed at people I work with at this location who seem to not even start addressing any of the problems I find until the next time I come. And then they start but still need a signature or whatever...so it's still an ongoing issue...and then they put it away and forget about it until next time. Useless!!!
And yes, sad about TWOP and I'm so sorry, Jessica. I hope something comes through soon for E.
Okay, talked to the vet. Also restarted my phone, which hopefully will make Zombies, Run work properly--the GPS hasn't worked for the last couple of weeks, which is annoying.
Add make pumpkin bread to the list Consuela.
Is it weird that I was longing for a show that we all shared again?
No, I feel that was all the time.
The TWoP thing is making me suprisingly sad, though I haven't been over there in eons. I'm really sad to see that the archives won't be available to the public.
I am about 15 minutes from throwing someone under the bus HARD. Is it too much to ask that you fucking do your job?
Those are very cute dresses, msbelle and Jesse!
I never read TWOP, but I still can't wrap my head around it going away. It's supposed to always be there, like Cute Overload.
Today is writing and sewing, tomorrow is Emerald City Comic Con! And keeping an eye on the Mage: The Ascension Kickstarter, because it's run by some peeps I know.
(I'm really sad/annoyed that our household budget means we can't back this Kickstarter, because not only would I like a copy of the Mage 20th edition book, but they're going to reach the stretch goal of creating new POD and ebook versions of my favorite bit of game fiction ever, the
Penny Dreadful
novel.)
