I don't want Friday to come because this is my last week off work; I start back at Former Employer on Tuesday. And before then I have to get my Dad's taxes done, which is turning into way more of a complicated project than I expected.
Also: hire a designer for my brother's website, get dog to vet, schedule & get a massage, get my hair cut, bring some of the books in from the garage, sort my clothes for Good Will and move the winter clothes into the garage, make a couple loaves of oatmeal bread, and make some more vegetably soup to put in the freezer for lunches.
I did go to Ross yesterday where I got 2 dresses, 3 tops, and a skirt for $100. Which I figured is a good deal, even if I couldn't find the perfect dress for my niece's graduation (late June in Chicago).
Did I share with you all what I am leaning to for my Easter dress?

I have new to me vintage hat and gloves that are bright yellow.
That's a whole lot of stuff, Consuela. Nice job at Ross, though!
msbelle, that dress is super cute.
Hmm. My only natter is that I'm going to go to the library when they open at noon to see if I can nab a DVD of Pacific Rim (I think it just came in today, because multiple copies are listed on the shelves of all the branches, and I assume if it had been available for even 1 day, they'd all be checked out).
And then maybe I'll run to the grocery store for cat food since I'll be out. And then back to work. I like having a flexible schedule, but sometimes it means I'm working at 8 pm, when I'd rather be having quality time with Tim.
That's one thing you have to be vigilant about, Tep, and I learned the hard way.
Any software-designing types here? This is a director of technology position with NetGalley, which is work at home: [link]
I'll have to look at your dress after work, msbelle.
Looks like today is going to be a 4 cups of coffee day. But I might be able to get by with only one type of allergy med, so that's something.
Sounds liek a nice haul from Ross, 'suela. I am, coincidentally, in the process of fulfilling an order for them.
We are on a two lane road towards the Grand Canyon. Cars in front of us have been going into the oncoming lane to pass another vehicle ahead of us. CJ hasn't had to do this kind of passing before and now it is our turn...should be interesting.
And he lucks out with a well placed passing lane.
Nice!
My favorite dress pants are loose enough around the waist to need a belt, and my only dress belt is too big (I think punching another hole int it would render it no longer a dress belt...). I don't know where to look for my next pair - these are Lane Bryant and they only go down to 14, but I love the way they fit (when they fit) and the drape and everything.
I got a response to my tripod question. Turns out the 1/4" screw spec I was reading for various tripods refers to the width of the screw, not the length (which is usually not specified).
So now I look like an idiot. Oh well, at least everyone here already knows I'm an idiot.
