Yeah, that is a peculiar thought to be having!
This week has been so long already. And I've got process improvement tasks today, which is interesting and all but it's on top of my regular work. Which I am behind in. Sigh.
ION: strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast, y'all. So good.
Speaking of work, I just thought, "Oh, phew -- thank goodness it's not Friday yet."
Ha! I actually thought that, too, but only because I'm a freelancer and would like to get as many hours on March's invoice as I can before the month is over.
Friday is coming up way too fast.
Happy Birthday Noah and Grace!!
I am about to fly down to Buenos Aires to choke a bitch.
My real problem is lack of interest in doing my work! I've been looking for people I need to chat with, as opposed to actually getting anything done.... Hm.
At least the weather would be better there, brenda?
You must have the most interesting expense reports, brenda.
My undergrad psych prof devoted a whole lecture to Why This Class is Not Graded on a Curve (engineering classes generally were, because averages of 35 were not uncommon).
We had that in chem classes too, which just annoyed me. What's the point?? Either the whole class is not learning what you expect (and you should go back and re-teach it) or you're writing the rest ridiculously out of step with what's been taught. Either way it's a failure.
There is not near enough natter in here to distract me from work. People, at this rate, I will have to do expense reports all day. NO ONE WANTS THAT.
